The radial bearing clearance for radial plain bearings is according to DIN ISO 12240-1:199 and DIN ISO 12240-1:1998. Since the outer ring of this bearing has been forced on only one side, calibration sleeves must be used when measuring the bearing clearances. These calibration sleeves must have a reception hole in the same specified size as the bearing outer dimension, and a tolerance no greater than 0 / -0.004 mm .
